Toyota BZ4X all-electric vehicle is coming to Lachine
Announced as the future carbon-neutral car, the Toyota bZ4X is an all-electric crossover SUV. Stay updated on its launch here in Lachine!

Toyota is officially entering the market of carbon-neutral vehicles. This new direction is what led them to the development of the upcoming Toyota bZ4X concept car. Last April, Toyota Canada announced that the Toyota bZ4X is the first in a series of all-electric vehicles under the Toyota bZ brand.

A Fully-Electric SUV

The all-new Toyota electric SUV is called the bZ4X: bZ refers to Toyota's "Beyond Zero" brand while 4X denotes the all-wheel drive performance of this crossover. For its design, Toyota developed the e-TNGA (electric Toyota New Global Architecture) platform in collaboration with Subaru. This platform will be used for all fully-electric cars manufactured by Toyota. According to Toyota, this concept "combines Toyota's legendary quality, durability and long-term reliability (QDR) with Subaru's AWD capabilities to deliver a comfortable and exciting driving experience."

While the technical details of this new electric SUV have not been revealed yet, we already know and love its very futuristic design! It stands out with its long wheelbase and short overhangs, and these two features give it a very slender and avant-garde silhouette as well as a very large and comfortable interior. The front and rear headlights, as well as the contrasting roof with a dual-pane sunroof, further improve its unique style. We expect the Toyota bZ4X to turn a lot of heads as it cruises from Montreal to Laval and the South Shore!

Interior of the BZ4X

The interior of this crossover SUV focuses on passenger comfort and peace of mind while driving on the road. To that end, Toyota lowered the dashboard and placed the instrument cluster far behind the steering wheel. According to Toyota, the goal is to "increase the vehicle's sense of space and increase visibility for safe driving". Also noteworthy is the presence of a floating center console with a large multimedia screen and few physical buttons (including a rotary gear selector).

Unfortunately, the release date of the Toyota bZ4X has not been revealed, but rumours have it that it will launch in the second half of 2022. In the meantime, don’t hesitate to contact us for more information on this futuristic SUV at your Toyota Spinelli dealer in Lachine
