The 2022 Toyota Tacoma is coming to Lachine

The TRD Pro version of the all-new 2022 Toyota Tacoma is coming soon! What’s more, Toyota Canada announced that the 2022 the Toyota Tacoma features many new additions and improvements, especially on the suspension. A new version, the Trail, will also be available. The future of this Toyota truck looks very promising indeed!

The new Toyota Tacoma seeks to further cement its reputation as a very reliable vehicle. To that end, the TRD Pro version features an increased suspension lift of 28 mm at the front and 13 mm at the back. It also gets new TRD forged aluminum upper control arms. Also noteworthy is the addition of a new theme colour for the 2022 edition: Electric Lime. It's sure to get you noticed on the roads of Montreal, Laval and the South Shore!

Under the hood of the 2022 Tacoma

The engine powering the TRD Pro version is the same as that found under the hood of the other trims in the line-up. It is a 3.5 L V6 engine that produces 278 horsepower and 265 lb-ft of torque. It's paired to a 6-speed automatic or manual transmission. Toyota is known for placing a premium on the security of all passengers, and this year is no exception with the inclusion of the Star Safety System. This system features:

• Anti-lock Brake System;
• Electronic Brake Force Distribution;
• Brake Assist;
• Smart Stop Technology.

As you would expect, the 2022 Tacoma is also packed with technology. The TRD Pro version is equipped with a multi-terrain monitor with front, rear and side cameras. These are displayed on your 8-inch touchscreen. This multimedia display also features Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. The dashboard uses a 4.2-inch multi-function display to easily and quickly provide an array of information to the driver. And let’s not forget to mention the very comfortable cabin of the TRD!

Plenty of Options for the 2022 Tacoma!

In addition to the TRD Pro and Trail, there are 5 other versions (SR5, TRD Off-Road, TRD Sport, Limited and Nightshade) and two cab options (4X4 Access Cab and 4X4 Double Cab).
